Directs traffic on and off site in designated areas. Monitors traffic and parking conditions in the self-parking garage, other onsite parking installations, and resort roadways.
• Directs the flow of traffic on site and at approved off site locations.
• Installs and places road cones, signs, and traffic control materials prior to major events or as needed in order to facilitate traffic flow.
• Monitors parking lots and roadways, and facilitates traffic flow to ensure onsite parking is maximized and areas are safe.
• Detects and reports suspicious and unlawful activities to immediate supervisor and/or security staff.
• Provides assistance to guests as needed (e.g., transport guests between vehicle and resort, assist with baggage, assist with vehicle location, perform vehicle tire changes, perform jump starts, answer general resort questions, contacts roadside services, etc.).
• Assists with valet and transportation operations as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
• Able to direct traffic and have an understanding of traffic control.
• Excellent guest service skills and an ability to communicate professionally with guests and staff.
• Able to maintain composure and keep pace with traffic control activities during periods of high activity.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.
• Exceptional detail and follow-up skills.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance services (e.g., changing tires or performing jump starts) is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid California Class C Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.
• Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
• Native American hiring preference applies.
