Transports resort guests and passengers to various destinations in company limousines or appropriate vehicles.
• Performs routine safety inspections of the livery vehicles at the beginning of each shift.
• Ensures that the livery vehicles are clean at all times, both inside and outside.
• Ensures that the livery vehicles are adequately fueled at all times.
• Ensures that the livery vehicles are stocked and prepared in accordance to service standards and requests.
• Operates all vehicles safely and in compliance with all motor vehicle laws and speed limits.
• Drives assigned route and follows itinerary.
• Assists passengers in handling luggage and large packages.
• Provides information to passengers on resort promotions and local attractions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• One year of experience transporting passengers.
• Previous limousine chauffeuring experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local, regional and state attractions, destinations and routes.
• Knowledge of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County wineries.
• Must be able to read maps and navigate unfamiliar places.
• Must have a professional demeanor and be well groomed.
• Must be friendly and courteous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.
• General proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office applications, email, and internet.
• California Class B driver license with passenger (P) endorsement is preferred.
• Must have an acceptable driving record.
• Employee must apply for, receive, and maintain a gaming license from the Gaming Commission.
• Native American hiring preference applies.
