Provides a wide variety of clerical, administrative and staff support services to assigned department(s).
• Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of Team Member timekeeping reports to Payroll, which may include missed punches, tip income, various leaves of absence, etc.
• Responsible for the accurate recording and tracking of Team Members’ records; communicates Team Member attendance issues and concerns to department management or other Team Member as appropriate.
• Prepares and composes correspondence, memoranda, reports, signage, etc.
• Submits Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) and other internal eforms as needed.
• Answers telephones, takes messages, answers routine and some non-routine inquiries, and forwards calls to appropriate Team Member or department as needed.
• Receives and screens visitors; demonstrates professionalism and exhibits high standards of guest service.
• Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings, events, training, and travel itineraries; coordinates related assignments.
• Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail; coordinates the pick-up and delivery of outgoing mail services (e.g., interoffice, FedEX, UPS, etc.).
• Assists with the maintenance of inventory of office supplies and materials for department operations; submits check requests and purchase orders as needed.
• Performs clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, typing, filing, etc.
• Administers programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the department(s) served.
• May serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities and operations.
• May assist in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc.
• May assist in budget preparation and control activities.
• Maintains confidentiality with regards to information that is sensitive and confidential.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• Associates degree preferred.
• One year experience performing clerical and administrative work.
• Proficient in computers, including Microsoft Office applications, e-mail and internet.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.
• Exceptional detail and follow-up skills.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential situations with discretion.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment.
• Ability to type 35 words per minute.
• Knowledge of applicable, regulations, rules, procedures, and administration is preferred.
• Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
• Native American hiring preference applies.
