Under the direction of the Food & Beverage Manager, the Food & Beverage Supervisor oversees the daily operations and functions of the restaurant, bar, and kitchen areas including safety, compliance, and staff for The Hadsten. Ensures that all standards of service are consistent in quality and excellence.


  • Assists the Food & Beverage Manager by supervising the restaurant, bar, and kitchen operations and ensures the efficient utilization of staff and equipment.
  • Provides the finest guest dining experience while leading a highly motivated and guest-service focused team.
  • Supervises service and interfaces with the front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) restaurant teams to ensure outstanding guest service.
  • Conducts departmental staff meetings to provide updates and foster communication.
  • Provides and participates in the ongoing training of the Food & Beverage team, including attendance in training and development classes through Chumash University and departmental training sessions.
  • Oversees and ensures safety inspections of the restaurant kitchen and service areas are regularly conducted and facilities are maintained to sanitation, safety, and aesthetics standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring all Food & Beverage areas are adequate in inventory supply levels and they are kept organized and clean.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with cash control and tip procedures is followed.
  • Ensures that all standards of service are consistent in quality and excellence.
  • Ensures compliance with all departmental and regulatory rules, policies, and procedures including alcohol and beverage service.
  • Ensures all liquor laws are adhered to and enforced by staff at all times.
  • Serves guests food and drinks, bus tables, cashier, and answer phones during peak times or as needed.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and addresses guests’ issues as they arise.
  • Trains, mentors, develops, coaches, resolves problems, provides open communication vehicles, and recommends disciplinary actions as appropriate.
  • Builds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, collaboration, performance feedback/management, and Team Member satisfaction while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • High School diploma or GED certificate.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or equivalent work experience.
  • Must register in the RBS Portal, take training from an authorized RBS Training Provider, and pass the ABC Alcohol Server Certification exam within 30 days of their confirmed training.
  • Three years of experience in Food and Beverage industry.
  • Two years of experience in supervisory role.
  • Basic proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Native American hiring preference applies.
