Overview

Under the Direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, and consistent with Chumash Enterprise policies, procedures, and applicable laws, the Executive Recruiter sources and recruits candidates for Executive, Director, and highly specialized positions.

 

This role and its function are part of the Human Resources shared services model. A Team Member in a shared service structure, works within a dedicated business unit (including people, processes, and technologies) that is structured as a centralized point of service and is focused on defined business functions. These units typically serve multiple business groups enterprise wide, and typically have established Service Level Agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, and directs processes to attract, evaluate and refer candidates for open positions through recruiting websites, employee referrals, on-site recruiting and other sourcing methods.
  • Responsible for sourcing, interviewing, evaluating, and referring applicants for  executive, director, and specialized positions.
  • In partnership with executive directors, develops and implements Service Level Agreements.
  • Develops recruiting strategy for senior-level executives.
  • Collaborates with business leaders.
  • Reviews jobs with department senior leadership to understand current job duties and required qualifications.
  • Evaluates and communicates key metrics to develop appropriate recruitment strategies and ensures positions are filled efficiently and effectively.
  • Develops and executes targeted research strategies.
  • Tracks and identifies prospective candidates using a variety of channels.
  • Assesses applicant knowledge, skills, and abilities in accordance with job requirements.
  • Conducts thorough interviews within the guidelines set by the Talent Acquisition Manager and the Human Resources department.
  • Coordinates candidate job offers with hiring managers and Compensation team when necessary.
  • Assists with recruitment promotions and advertising.
  • Monitors current job openings and requisitions.
  • Responsible for processing billing for employment related accounts.
  • Produces recruitment reports, as requested for appropriate personnel.
  • Ensures the timely and accurate posting of all Chumash Enterprises’ positions on the company website, job bulletin board, and other designated areas.
  • Coordinates with employment agencies on the staffing of temporary Team Members.
  • Coordinates and attends career fairs and other recruiting related events to increase company recognition and make connections to build a “pool” of potential candidates.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field is preferred.
  • Four years sourcing and recruiting for executive and director level positions.
  • Prior experience recruiting for highly technical or finance positions is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Human Resources information systems is preferred.
  • General knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, rules, procedures, and administration is required.
  • General proficiency in computers, utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and Internet.
  • Experience with Human Resources information systems is preferred. 
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Native American hiring preference applies.

Minimum Pay Rate

$73,090 annually

Maximum Pay Rate

$91,363 annually
