Under the direction of department management, the Tribal Youth Job Skills Trainee will assist with the day-to-day operations of various departments. Trainees will rotate through various functional areas, including, but not limited to, Tribal Operations, Hotel Operations, Human Resources, Sustainability, Food & Beverage, Information Technology, and Facilities during the eight-week program. 

Under the direction of departmental leadership, will perform day-to-day entry-level tasks in the following functional areas:
• Tribal Operations
• Hotel Operations
• Human Resources
• Information Technology
• Sustainability
• Food & Beverage
• Facilities

• Must be between the ages of 14–18 and entering or currently enrolled in high school.
• Must be a SY Chumash Community Member.
• General proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office applications, e-mail and Internet.
• Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.
• Exceptional detail and follow-up skills.
• Team Member must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and write legibly.
