Supports the overall success of the hotel by exceeding guest expectations for cleanliness. Maintains public and common areas of the hotel, including pool and spa area, lobby, elevators, restrooms, meeting room, fitness suite, and VIP area. Performs minor room maintenance.  


• Assists Housekeeping Supervisor with maintaining the inventories of cleaning products, linens, and amenities.
• Provides service in accordance with AAA Four Diamond standards at all times.
• Responsible for stocking room attendant carts with adequate supplies and equipment to maintain an efficient cleaning cart to complete assigned rooms.
• Notifies supervisor when a shortage of supplies is noticed.
• Maintains pool and spa areas, including outdoor furniture.
• Maintains equipment in laundry area and logs daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports on mangle, vacuums, cleaning equipment, washers, and dryers.
• Maintains and cleans equipment in fitness suite and vending and ice areas. 
• Assists with minor maintenance in guest rooms and common areas; changes light bulbs, maintains plants, cleans door and wall markings, windows, and furniture, and empties vacuum cleaner bags as needed. 
• Assists in moving furniture to clean molding and walls, and cleans hard-to-reach areas of hotel rooms and common areas.
• Reports all maintenance problems with written maintenance orders as needed. 
• Assists in cleaning spots on carpet, draperies, and upholstery in guest rooms and common areas.
• Maintains and cleans balconies, including light fixtures and outdoor furniture.
• Sweeps, vacuums, and/or washes sidewalks, hallways, and stairwell areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of elevators, public restrooms, and public areas such as hotel lobby and VIP lounge.
• Assist in delivering guests’ requests to hotel rooms prior to arrival (e.g., gift baskets, roll away beds, cribs).
• Removes used linens from room attendant carts and transports to laundry.
• Maintains and cleans offices and housekeeping workstations. 
• Turns or flips all mattresses and logs dates. 
• Recognizes and uses appropriate cleaning chemicals.
• Empties trash from room attendant carts.
• Cleans all glassware, dishes, and silverware in guest rooms and in any food areas of the hotel, including VIP, meeting room, and breakfast areas.
• Sets up, breaks down, and cleans the breakfast area, meeting room, and VIP area.
• Picks up trash from parking area and garden areas and maintains trash/waste areas.
• Stocks storage closets with supplies, maintains shelf organization, and rotates linens. 
• Turns in articles left in rooms to management for “Lost and Found” handling, following hotel procedures.
• Maintains security of keys as assigned. 
• May also perform duties as Laundry Attendant, Mini Bar Attendant, Spa Attendant and Room Attendant.
• Performs other duties as assigned.


• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or house person experience is preferred.
• Guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in the English language.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
• Native American hiring preference applies.
