The Server within Willows is responsible for taking guest orders and delivering exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
Delivers exceptional guest service (i.e., prompt, friendly, professional, and responsive), using proper greeting and departure phrases and service standards established by F&B management.
Takes food and beverage orders from guests and serves them in a timely manner.
Completes all opening, running, and closing duties.
Familiarizes with the food selections offered, the ordering process, and the expediting of food items.
Maintains Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) on service of alcoholic beverages, identifying guests showing signs of intoxication; informs supervisor or manager on duty with any concerns.
Confirms all guests ordering alcohol are of legal drinking age using established liquor service procedures.
Places orders for alcoholic beverages using the established product ordering standards.
Follows established cash handling procedures for revenue and tips.
Addresses guests’ concerns and resolves issues as appropriate and according to policy/procedures; involves management as needed.
Provides information on resort amenities, events, promotions, etc. in order to increase levels of guest service.
Makes change and issues receipts to guests.
Receives cash, credit cards, or comps from guests for goods or services and records amounts received, and follows the Loyalty program guidelines.
Recalculates or calculates bill and itemizes list and ticket showing amount due using point of sale system.
Fulfills end of shift cashier closing duties, such as closing side work, cash bank settlements to Cage/Vault, point-of-sale system card re-sets, and organizing receipts, comps, or other necessary payment verifications for Revenue Audit collection.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Must be 21 years of age or older to sell or serve distilled spirits. Team Members under 21 but at least 18 years of age may sell or serve beer and wine in non-gaming areas.
Must register in the RBS Portal, take training from an authorized RBS Training Provider, and pass the ABC Alcohol Server Certification exam within 30 days of their confirmed training.
Must successfully complete Serv Safe certification and Food Handlers within 30 days of employment.
Previous serving experience in a fine dining environment, including alcohol, is preferred.
Knowledge of alcoholic/non-alcoholic drink offerings and how to serve them; wine pairing knowledge is preferred.
Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.
Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
