Overview

The Floor Seller serves an assigned section and responsible for selling paper and flashboards; retrieving and paying winners; verifying winning cards; and answering questions related to sessions and games. Works as part of the team to assure sales and service are maintained at optimum levels.

Responsibilities

  • Sells Bingo paper before and during each session.
  • Accountable for accurate handling of all paper and cash transactions.
  • Verifies forms for accuracy and sign off as required.
  • Works with Distribution Clerk to resolve discrepancies and signs off as required.
  • Returns unsold paper, bank, and cash from sales in a timely, orderly, and accurate manner.
  • Monitors and serves assigned section by retrieving winners, verifying winning cards, paying winners, playing for guests who must, for valid reasons, absent themselves from play, and answering questions about sessions and games.
  • Has direct contact with Bingo guests and must perform the very important role of public relations with all guests on an impartial and continuing basis.
  • Knows the calendar, programs, games, and prices of buy-ins and extras so that complete and accurate information can be provided to guests.
  • Works as part of the team to assure sales and service are maintained at optimum levels.
  • Monitors assigned section during play to help assure that rules of play and house rules are adhered to.
  • Alerts management to any condition or activity that is questionable or appears to be in violation of the rules.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
  • One year of prior experience in gaming facility.
  • Basic to intermediate math skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, e-mail, and Internet.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Native American hiring preference applies.
