Under the general direction of the Education Director, the Tribal Youth Job Skills Trainee assists with the day-to-day operations of various departments. Trainee rotates through various functional areas, including, but not limited to: Hotel Operations, Human Resources, Sustainability, Food & Beverage, Information Technology, and Facilities during the eight-week program. 

• Under the direction of departmental leadership, performs day-to-day entry-level tasks in the following functional areas:

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be between the ages of 14 and 18 and entering or currently enrolled in high school.
• Must be a Santa Ynez Chumash Community Member.
• Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0.
• Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.
• Native American hiring preference applies.
