The Willows Host is responsible for greeting and escorting guests to tables. Coordinates seating assignments in accordance with established procedures.
Responsibilities
Delivers exceptional guest service (i.e., prompt, friendly, professional, and responsive), using proper greeting and departure phrases and service standards established by F&B management.
Communicates with servers and restaurant management to provide appropriate levels of service to top-tiered Club Chumash players (e.g., Black and Platinum).
Monitors restaurant for table availability and coordinates seating assignments in accordance with established procedures.
Escorts guests to tables or the lounge Manages dining reservations and wait lists; utilizes Open Table, if applicable.
Provides server’s name to guests at applicable outlets.
Collects guest information form guests and other team members and uses them to update the guest’s Open Table profile.
Keeps the hosting and cashiering areas of the restaurant clean and organized; cleans promotional displays, menus, counters, etc.
Operates point-of-sale system as needed and applicable.
Assists servers and bussers with refilling water/coffee for guests, setting and bussing tables, and attending to guests’ needs, as necessary or directed.
May be required to wipe tables, change ashtrays, wash glassware, and clean equipment.
Stays up to date with the food selections and promotions offered in the dining facility.
Takes to-go orders, enters them into the POS, packages orders, and confirms order accuracy with guests. Tenders to-go checks.
Partners with the Executive Hosts team and Player development to communicate guest needs, comps and ensure enhanced guest satisfaction.
Maintains menus and wine lists. Prints and re-stocks menus as needed.
Completes all assigned closing duties at the end of shift.
Provides information on resort amenities, events, promotions, etc. in order to increase levels of guest service.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Must be 21 years of age or older to sell or serve distilled spirits. Team Members under 21 but at least 18 years of age may sell or serve beer and wine in non-gaming areas.
Must register in the RBS Portal, take training from an authorized RBS Training Provider, and pass the ABC Alcohol Server Certification exam within 30 days of their confirmed training.
Must successfully complete Serv Safe within 30 days of employment.
Previous experience in guest services.
Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.
Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
Native American hiring preference applies.
